Care for your board

Thank you for purchasing an item that was carefully created on Providence Hill. Each item has been made from reclaimed wood that has been tested & treated to ensure that it is food safe. The boards can be used in many different ways including the serving of food.

There are a few ways to keep your boards looking great…

• Place wet items in bowls before placing them on your board.

• Make sure fruits like strawberries are dry before serving directly on your board.

• Use a damp cloth to wipe clean.

• Avoid using detergents as the boards are treated with butcher block oil.

• After extensive use or if you notice your board is getting dull or dry, re-treat it with butcher block conditioner.

• Keep out of direct sunlight as this may dry it out, leading to some slight discoloration.
